There's no way I'm walking down six flights of stairs to spray paint outdoors. In NYC, we use our fire-escape in creative ways, everyday!
Hi, I'm Anastacia. Like so many others on this big internet, I like to make stuff.
It all started with a junk drawer, one of my earliest memories. The junk drawer was a space that my mom gave me ownership of in our tiny NYC apartment. It became a place to collect odds and ends, broken toys, and random bits of material. Over the years, the friends, family, and the internet has taught me crochet, sewing, sculpture, jewelry design, woodworking, painting, and countless other crafts. In high school, I studied classical music (piano and clarinet), math, Latin and science, making it near impossible to pick a major in college. FInally, I decided on Industrial Design because I could steer my education on a number of paths.
Follow my creative journey here on AVSmakes.
Although I do have a design portfolio, I’ve have never put together a formal craft portfolio. This site is a small attempt to organize my creative projects over the last ten years. (Going back before that, I definitely had projects, but not many photos!)
